Can I use my Amiga joystick with FS-UAE?
Hi,
I have a joystick plugged into a 9 pin serial to USB adapter. The adapter can be read and is coming up as COM3 in Device Manager. I have specified the joystick as the name seen in Device Manager e.g. USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM3) but still nothing. The keyboard still seems to be taking over as the role of the joystick. The reason I'm doing this is because my dad has recently taken ill and I want to surprise him by showing him Amiga games we used to play together. I look forward to your replies. Hi, you can connect your joystick, but you need a special adapter (a DB9 serial to USB won't do). Here is an adapter you can buy: http://www.retronicdesign.com/en/ (there are other similar products on the market as well).
