perhaps we should consider making another one,

one so that users can upload pictures of the unit and have feedback scores etc.

@ whiteb

Good idea, I will try that and see what he says. E-mail sent to Tecno to ask his view.

If not, perhaps we can create AmigaBay??? Good name I thought LOL

I think we should make a new one

I thought I totally missed the closer by a long way seems it was a bit recent, shame I was recently on there, the thing I won't miss though is when ever I placed a wanted ad. some one would come along and try to sell me a item at 2000X its market value and then throw a fit and insults about when I don't want it, great thing though I actually got a response to ALL my ads.

I also remember times gettings stuff for free too after placing ads, now that was COOL

As someone else pointed out, the ads. I saw over the last 2 months or so tended to be the same people with the same ads, nothing new

Good site that was, although listings were getting a little thin in recent years.

Shame it's gone - anything to avoid funding ebay's march onto world domination must be a good thing!

That's a real shame - this was an excellent site - I remember when it first started, nice place to trade at no cost...

@ General

Some of us at OldSkool UK are looking to set a new site up to replace Amibench (or possibly complement it, if Tecno decides to start up again), the main thing is to offer an alternative to the dreaded Fleabay for Miggy fans only.

If anyone is interested in helping with this project can you let us know at the OldSkool UK site? Sign-ups are welcome!

Cheers

Merlin
