D-mob music disk 3 .mod?

MANY years ago D-mob released a musicdisk featuring a "750kb" module as the scrolltext says. Back in the days I remember I tried to rip this module but was never successful. It is a soundtracker module but the samples are loaded of the disk in realtime (kind of) which makes ripping difficult.
Does anyone knows if this module was successfully ripped, as I'd love to have it.

Any skilled module rippers reading this perhaps?

Try to fetch all the pattern data first, then rip the samples individually. This way you can add the "missing samples" with a tracker or so, if you can make a MOD with empty samples out of the pattern data... Not sure if the pattern data is drip feeded like the samples.

I had a bit of fun at work and coded a sample ripper and created the mod. It sounds OK to me but I didn't check it much so let me know if there are problems. Module and source for the sample ripper attached.

There's a little bit too much data in one sample, so it has a short click in the end, otherwise it sounds quite ok.

I had a short look at the mod and noticed two "bad" samples besides the one with the click in the middle (can easy removed). Almost all samples are sampled (or stolen *g*) from commercial songs (bad style) and have a bad quality (< 16kHz sampling frequence). If you really like this mod you can sample/record the samples in better quality (at least double or if not must be a PT mod full CD quality). BTW some samples are unnecessary long so the size could be shrink. Seems the musican wasn`t good or too lazy.

@StingRay: Wow, good work, however the song doesn't seem to play correct entirely.. It seems like there's some samples missing.

Here's the original, ripped from WinUAE and converted to mp3:

Since it was just a quick hack it's entirely possible that there are problems. I'll check.

I had some more fun at work this morning and coded a converter for the module, had to adapt the sample numbers in the patterns as they were replaced "on the fly" in the music disk. Not too easy to do (took me about 2 hours) but good fun. Module should now be 100% OK. Problems with the samples were caused by a broken disk image, I used a different image now. Module plus source for the converter attached, converter is 68020+ only because I used bitfield instructions.

Yes, I planned to do a WHDLoad install for that one anyway and it'll be very easy to do.

WHDLoad version now in The Zone. Since I have no icon yet, it needs to be started from shell with whdload musicdisk3.slave preload.

That's awesome dude, thanks alot! This musicdisk has been one of my favourite since it was released back in the good old days.

If anyone wants the task of creating a WHDLoad Icon for it, it would be even better.
