Project-X Level 4 Boss
One question: how the hell do you beat it? (On the underwater level). I can't seem to hurt it, whatever I do and inevitably end up getting killed! (I'm playing the Special Edition by the way). It's driving me completely crazy!

I had the same trouble with this boss,so I got a trained version that disabled collision detection.I still could not hurt the boss at all.In the end I just skipped the level.(I know that this probably doesn`t help much but I think it could be a bug with the special edition.)
 Team 17 had many bugs in their games,(Alien breed `92 had a stupid bug on level 8 which stopped you escaping.) |

Hey, I didn't think there were many problems killing this boss!
 Just use some intelligence: as you can see from attachments, this boss have to be killed hurting his two blue parts when he stays on the upper or lower area of the level, but not when he moves up-down! So, go there with the air (!) and shoot until he hides from the level!  I hope this will help you.

@falconfx: thanks for your help, I eventually managed to kill it myself though (using good old common sense
 ), and indeed did level 5 as well, although that boss is an absolute nightmare to do. Shame about the ending though!

Hey, why did my post earlier never appear? Weird. Anyway, I just found the "New Levels" data disk.... how do you use it exactly?

I tried a "new levels"data disk a while ago,it started on level 4.If I remember correctly my copy was bootable.

@gifgit: OK thanks for that - might try it out of curiousity at some point anyway.
@falconfx: Thanks for your help with the boss, but I managed to do it (eventually) before I read your post! And I also managed to beat the level 5 boss (which is extremely hard) and completed the game! Shame about the ending though.

I agree,
the ending was shit. It was a bit of an anti-climax to complete the game and just get a congratulations screen.
