King's Quest 6 - Disks not recognised

When I play King's Quest 6 the game works fine until the point when I want to use a map to travel to other islands. Depending which island I choose, the game asks to insert a disk (disk 1 or 7 - depends of the island). No matter in what drive I insert the requested disk, the game keeps on asking to insert it. Is this a fault in the game or a bad crack?

I've put a KQ6 save-game disk in The Zone. If you restore the file 'Map 1' you can select any of the islands from the map and try to load the game for yourself.

Speaking of the zone; Where IS the zone now? I can't seem to find it in this new layout...?

Smile Become a friend of 'The Zone'

In my User profile, I selected 'group memberships' and marked a box called 'Access The Zone'. Now The Zone appeared under the 'News' topic.
Here I've uploaded the KQ6 savegame adf.
