Call it natural progress. BTW, I still remember great feeling first time I saw great 'hand holding floppy' screen on my PC while back. At the time Classics for UAE was still alive. |

First make sure your controller is recognized by windows.
Then start WinUAE and check if is listed as an option in controller settings. If yes, select it. WinUAE will select first button as fire 1, second as fire 2 etc. Most of new PSx look a like controlers have left button, (not the bottom button) set as first button, so in the order to make it easier for your self you will have to change it in key configuration. |

Another way to go that doesn't seem too popular on this site is Lemon Amiga's lemonade. Download it and the appropriate TOSEC torrents, grab the screen shots, browse for your favorite game and enjoy.

Well why bother with lemonade when you can use GameBase Amiga which is still being actively developed unlike lemonade.
more games (with sps and whd) more screenshots, plus music and extras to boot. |

Thanks for the link, I will have to check this out. I think options like these will help our new friends out immensely when compared to just loading ADF's one at a time. Last edited by illy5603; 10 August 2008 at 06:46. |

Lemonade is nice, but as Belgo already said it is dead project and missing one important feature - whdload + SPS support.

*Anubis, not trying to hijack the thread away but, my only problem with GBA, which is more a problem with the game base engine itself, is how many after install steps there are. I tried last night and finally just uninstalled it. I am sure if you already had GB64 running it would seem like second nature but coming in cold it is all pretty confusing.

Why didn't you just ask for help instead of giving up?
And to be honest I really don't think it's all that complicated at all, yes there's quite a few steps but they're all fairly simple. |

One of the reason I like GBA is great support. Just imagine running all of those great WHDLoad games by simple click of the mouse. |

Hi Terramex,
welcome to the EAB You can find the newest version (1.6) here : http://gbamiga.elowar.com/ There you will also find some instructions how to set Gamebase Amiga up and where to get the needed files (many of them are on that site). Also have a look at the subforum for Gamebase Amiga here on EAB : http://eab.abime.net/forumdisplay.php?f=76 You can ask further questions there |
