Eyetech 4 way buffered IDE interface

Howdy,

I picked up a second hand 4 way buffered IDE connector however I have noticed its missing some pins on the IDE connector. Anyone else have one to compare?

The connectors are like this:

CDPlus CH2S (3.5")
2nd 3.5HD CH2M (3.5")
3rdHD/2ndCD CH1S (2.5") (guide says connect to amiga here)
internalHD CH1M (2.5")

If you look at the connector orientated with the connections as above the following pins are missing.

Bottom left on the CH1S connector (looks like the pin 1 reset pin)
Bottom right on the CH2S connector (CDPlus) (looks like pin 39 dasp-)

Is it supposed to be like this or has some idiot cut some of the pins off?

I don't think the reset pin is an issue, if it wasn't shipped like this i guess someone did it to fix a problem with their hdds and/or cdroms not initialising in time after a soft reset.

But will pin 39 cause problems on the CH2M connector?

Looks like maybe this is the way they come shipped. Mine is a different revision but same pins missing as pictured here.
