Nethack setup help

Hi,
When I open nethack there is no option to start new game, I have tried to put in a nethavk.cnf but it says 'can't open new config file for write'. It is version 3.2.2.

Just tried this: nethack322.lha

...it seems to be missing the main file "NetHack".

I had better luck with this: nethack-343-bin.lha

Follow these instructions:

Make a folder (with icon) on your hard drive named "NetHack".
From the archive, copy all folders / files from under "NetHack" to the above.
Set an assign for the game i.e: assign NetHack: SYS:NetHack.
Start the game by double-clicking on "NetHack".

All working now

I set up a winuae config the same as my real machine and tried it their, then copied the file over - thanks
