Kickstartswitcher broken?

I was a bit tired when opening up my amiga 600 a while ago, and when i assembled it again, i did put the amigakit kickstartswitcher

on slightly wrong pins. The switcher only has 40-pins, and the amiga 600 has 42 pins, so in the instructions it says that i should put the switcher on pin 2 as first. I didn't.. I didn't notice until i used a couple of times.

Today i wanted to boot some old 1.3 only stuff, and--
Now i cant make it switch on ctrl-amiga-amiga which it used to.
It's not the keyboard, as i can reset still, and the amiga works fine otherwise. The KS-roms in the switch works fine when putting them in the MB-socket each on their own, it's just that it won't switch.
Is it possible to "fry" the kickstartswitch this way? I presume i did a major f***-up then..

Or could it be something else, any ideas.

Do the red and green led's switch over when you reset?

Do the led's light up at all?

The green led light and boots 3.1 as it should, but on holding reset buttons it doesnt switch KS, and therefore doesn't change led light, as it used to. Reseting the computer works fine. so the keyboard seems ok. Guess it's broken then...

What happens if you put working rom in the socket thats not working.
It should auto switch by itself.

Led light turns black when switching on - and nothing more. Tested with both workings roms.

Certainly sounds like you have killed it.
