Old Amiga office in Los Gatos

I was in the area and I thought I'd visit

According to google the address is

Commodore-Amiga Incorporated

983 University Ave. Building #D
Los Gatos, California, 95030

The building still appears to be there.

Amiga Inc was always in Los Gatos, I think they had two separate offices there. After Commodore bought them, there was some pressure for the guys to move to the east coast, but I guess not many of them wanted to go, so they slowly quit one by one.

No, they were first situated on Scott Blvd, in Santa Clara... then they moved a few miles away to Los Gatos, in larger facilities, after the buy out by Commodore.

The address was different from one of the US Amiga boxes I saw. Hopefully it was correct

Yeah, it was the right one in Los Gatos

... but after the Los Gatos closure, they were moved to West Chester, PA (one of the reasons for some engineers to quit)

Thanks, even if it's just a building.. It's fun having these "nerd" pilgrimages.
