I think Jens did mention new C64 PSUs, but other priorities must have stemmed any more news! The Reloaded board uses a normal 12v DC 1A or higher PSU, so I wouldn't have thought any newer Reloaded boards would require a different PSU?

I would also expect this production to be of better quality than the KS ones which had many issues. |

Yes, per EU law these cases has to be covered by a warranty - this is not the case with crowdfunded items where they can basically ship anything they want (or nothing at all) and ignore any warranty claims without breaking any laws.

Sam's Journey looks very impressive technically, but also very much inspired by Super Mario (which is not a bad thing).

I actually felt it to be a Kid Chameleon clone (again not a bad thing, I love that game):

Sorry, I don't fully understand you. You've got the link and so the http address. If I try to include the link into the text I've written it doesn't work on EAB and it would show again a "Show Youtube Player".
In any case you can quote me and then you will see the http address too. Last edited by Retrofan; 22 January 2017 at 20:03. |

(Done, excuse my english). Now, talking about the game, wouldn't it be much better if it uses other graphics for the background?

Wow Sam's Journey looks and sounds amazing, gameplay looks top notch to. The silky smooth sprites and glorious 50fps scroll really show off the power of the C64, colour is used beautifully as well.
I'm getting some SNES Donkey Kong Country vibes from it with the barrel shooting elements and also in the underwater sections. Good to know it's going to be finished soon and will be a complete game, it's really the full package and I can't wait to play it. Now let's see an Amstrad compete with this! |
