P-UAE boots directly when starting the program

Hi all,

P-UAE 2.3.3 starts the emulation here directly when I call the program. I launch it with "uae". The start- and pause-buttons are disabled. Only the button reset works for starting an adf.
I'm not sure if the reason is my gtk-problem described here:

Any suggestions or tricks?

I used to have some subtly weird behavior because of a dangling pointer in GTK. I compiled GTK myself, and it went away. So that could be an option. Mayby you can do without GUI? Then use configuration files only.

I think compiling gtk gets me into the Rpm-Hell as it is a a central element.

Yes, so true. I installed the new version into a different dir with --prefix=xyz. There probably were more options, but I can't remember. Anyway, this whole issue was specific to my distro that had a library version mismatch. I don't know whether it applies to you. The description just sounded similar.
