Bash Street Kids
[ Show youtube player ]
Some dev gfx I found while developing this game - unfortunately it was never finished. Created with Deluxe Paint III on a standard Amiga 500. Developed in 1991 at Alternative Software, Pontefract West Yoks. A 2D side scrolling arcade adventure style platform game based on "The Bash Street Kids" from popular UK kids comic, "The Beano". The project was initially started in early 1993, with all Amiga game characters getting the visual go ahead from DC Thompson. Some artwork was completed, including fully animated sprite characters and at least 3 levels of background blocks. There may have been a simple Amiga demo, controlling one of the kids around a semi-playable level. The project was (probably) abandoned mid 1993. |
