Question Rob 1's Big Bag of retro stuff from Computer Exhibitions in the early 90's

Hello all

I’ve found a large bag of stuff from Computer Exhibitions I went to in the early 90's.
Rather than chucking it or leaving it to rot, I thought I would share it’s contents with all of you guys to see if it would be useful for the Hall of Light, Magazine Rack or may be someone on here knows of similar Sega or Nintendo sites which may be interested in the console related items?

Here is the list of items in the bag…..

Below are links to low res copies of the scans to see if they are useful before cropping and sending over.[/FONT][/COLOR]

Potential stuff for HOL misc shots

I have scanned all of this magazine if it's wanted? but not the others.

Amiga information and specs

Photo of other Amiga related stuff

If you'd like more photo's or scans of specific items of interest please let me know and I'll try to accommodate

If anyone actually wants any of the physical stuff rather than just a scan or photo private message me. I’m a hoarder of this type of thing rather than a collector.

Sorry that second one step beyond should have read burning rubber.

On hol burning runners manual is in with the misc shots.....

Nuts the robocop stickers already on hol, I thought I recognised it as a extra in the box.

For HOL these items would be interesting:
Code:
Zool 'Flat Hat'
Greamlin Games Flyer
One Step Beyond (2?) poster
Virgin Games sticker
Robocop 3 sticker
Chuck Rock 2 sticker
Since you can add miscshots yourself now, just upload them for the appropiate games
(PM me your questions )

The first 3 rows of stuff are about Amiga games which have been ported over to the mega drive, are these of interest to hol even though they have sega written on them?

Or do the ads need to be for the Amiga conversion to go on HOL misc shots?

They'd definitely be of interest to a multiplatform databases like Moby, but probably not so relevant to HOL since it focuses purely on the Amiga. If we starting including stickers etc. from game releases for other platforms, then that will start muddying the waters for Amiga collectors and enthusiasts that use HOL.

Pretty much the same answer applies. It doesn't really matter if adverts are multiplatform, so long as they mention the Amiga (even if the game is unreleased on Amiga). Alternatively, adverts that don't mention any platform (not so common) may be included in HOL.

Hope that helps! Thanks for all the recent HOL contributions too!

I agree having Sega written on HOL items will degrade the whole site

I've put the multi platform stuff on there, but will hold on to the other stuff incase any other sites want it.

Hey, I've got more time for Sega than Atari. Least we got some decent conversions from the Mega Drive (e.g. Aladdin). Can't say the same about conversions from the Atari ST, though!
