...It depends how much work you're prepared to do.

An Amiga (with CD-Rom) can run most CD32 games with the aid of some kind of CD32 'emulation' - how to get a standard CD-ROM to behave like a CD32 one... in particular the Akiko chip.

CD32 running an Amiga CD may be easier or much trickier depending on the CD...
...it may just work but more likely you'll need some kind of WB loaded first - how to do that is the tricky bit...
...AFAIA most Amiga CDs are just 'distribution media'. They aren't bootable & often expect you the install to a HDD before using the software & then there's extra RAM, faster processor that such software often demands...
...ah, and lots of Amiga software will expect a keyboard & mouse...

...sounds like an excuse for a project to me.

you can play cd32 games only if you have A1200 or A4000 + cdrom + idefix cd32 emulator

on a real cd32 to play normal amiga games you need for example the SX-1 addon where you can connect a floppy drive
but if you don't have the SX-1 or another expansion set you can play amiga games using a pirated cd compilation of amiga games

I have to add that you can play CD32 games with an A1200 & Squirrel SCSI interface with CDROM.. in fact I find the Squirrel CD32 Emulator is far superior to the one supplied with IDEFix.

I have both solutions but that is just my opinion.

I agree, the Squirrel CD32 emulator is the best (alot of games refused to work with IDEFIX CD32 Emulator). Im currently using this PowerComputing CD32 Emulator (Squirrel) with my internal DVD Drive and it also boots CD32 games on switchon (once you set it all up ofcourse).
