Things you often wonder

Why is that every time you buy something like after shave or anything else with a spray/plunger type bottle the tube is always too short to get the last bit out ?

Why is it that when a PussEKatt puts up a Jokes thread in OT, she (or he ?) posts only two blondes jokes in it,
and not especially witty ones I should point out ?

Well, for the spray thing, there are a couple of reasons. First, you don't want the tube exactly the right length, because then it'll hit the bottom and get blocked, so you won't get anything out of it at all. And second, glass bottles are imprecisely manufactured - you can get a difference of 1-2mm in thickness at the bottom, so there needs to be enough tolerance in the length of the straw to allow for that.

Now, taking my engineering hat off... Why can't my job involve Amigas?

Why do people drive so slowly, using only like 20% (being generous here) of their engine's capabilities?
Why can no one spell anymore?
Why are people so damn stupid?

You may turn on auto-generated cc (subtitles / closed caption) and choose English (or whatever your native tongue is) in the settings, should do the job. That French actor & stand-up comedy artist P. Timisit nails it perfectly I think (lots of slang, might be considered controversial). I don't suggest doing so with malko YT video as it auto-translates very badly.
Better watch the trailer of the English subtitled version if you're interested. It features a few seconds of that excerpt
(said quirky comical movie is called shut up / Ruby & Quentin overseas) showcasing the ineffable G. Depardieu acting like a chump :

Why.

Why oh why.

Imagine, as a pedestrian, you are waiting for a light to cross the street. Imagine you live in a country where you have to push a button to make the light go to green.

Why.

Why why why.

Does every single person that joins the group of waiting people.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Have to press the gosh darned button again. And again. And again.
