SBase 4 Pro 1.3
I'm searching for SBase4pro. I know that it is available from AEN's ftp sites, but this is
an old version which won't do the trick in my case (I already have an existing database which won't be read by this version....) I know that this is not exactly "oldschool", as Mr. Hardware are still maintaining and updating SBase4Pro (at least I think so). I *do* own a legal copy of SBase4 (CU Amiga May 98 CoverCD), but that CD is actually broken (literally, I was moveing places few months ago). I've still got the magazine though, so I'm able to proof that I'm entitled to own it )) Would be cool if somebody could supply me with CU Amiga Coverdisk 181 (that's the version I need) or Sbase4Pro 1.3 (not sure about the version number, all I know is that 1.36 is the latest version)... Thx in advance! |

I just uploaded a version to the zone. Let me know if it works or not, as I have other versions. I just grabbed the first one that was already TOSEC'd.

The second disk has a CRC error, which is no big problem, it contains only example stuff (which
I don't need). This version at least *loads* the database, but the few DML macros I checked crashed the machine. Could you have a look for a newer version (the version you upped was 1.0) ? You'd really save my life Disk 1 would be sufficient. |

OK, I posted v1.20 (3 disks). Let me know if that one works better. I will continue digging through my versions and if I find something later than this, I will post it, as well.
Whoever is responsible for the Apps TOSEC dats doesn't check the disks very thoroughly, it seems, and not only doesn't include version numbers, but very often includes completely incorrect information. I mention this because I haven't checked these disks out, I just opened disk 1 and checked the readme for the version info. |

@Twistin':
> OK, I posted v1.20 (3 disks). Let me know if that one works better. Thanks again! This one worked with all DML commands I threw at it, but it crashed when executing my DML application. I'm pretty sure that this is the version I was using previously though, so it might be a problem with my setup (upgraded to 3.9 in the meantime) - will have to check that... > I will continue digging through my versions and if I find something later than this, I will > post it, as well. If you find a newer version (I doubt that, as the only newer version would be the one that was released two years ago) it would be really cool if you could up it... Thanks man, I hope I'll be able to help you out one day. |

I checked all of my versions and 1.20 is the latest I have (at least here on the PeeCee...) Cleared a bit of space from all of the dupes, too!
Glad to have helped! |

Thanks for this info, Pyro. It's often difficult to keep up with what is still marketed and what has been abandoned and we always welcome information such as this!
