I've actually finished the Liquid Kids slave (you are right about blitter routines! My god there are tonnes) but an easy install... Just didn't get time before work to do the icons hence I haven't released it...
Typical, 15 mins to HD install it and then 1 hour to fix blitter waits and then I have to go to work! Grrr... |

Hey, take it easy, pal! We waited for this game 12 years...
It really doesn't matter if you make a WHDload version next week... |

Nearly done now....
Just a few bugs to sort out and reduce the game size and fix lots of daft spelling mistakes!

Pity that Castle Master is already available at WHDload! Choosing the german language version was the straw that broke the camel's back! Real cool "German" - if you were German, it would take you a whole day to fix THAT Last edited by andreas; 27 August 2003 at 02:35. |

Grrrr....
Bloody game bombs out in later levels on 68o6o. Tricky bugger tracking it down.
Some fixed blitter waits actually stop the game working. Liquid Kids was in need of some more work to complete I think! |

The....
Whole game is there, don't get me wrong, its just some stupid programming was used along the way.
I suspect it was old code used to get it up and running and then they would tweak it later for a final release as Ocean France are not noted for doing DOS disk games. |

The intro and in-game texts were mispelled in the original arcade game, make sure not to edit that! Here are the intro texts as they were in the arcade machine: "Peaceful woody-lake." "The fire-devil took woody-lake by surprise." "Transmitted miraculous power." "the savior, "hipopo". attack the devil" Will look for more in the arcade version if you want. Seems like the arcade version doesn't mention anything about his girlfriend. [edit]I'm finishing up the logo today, was more difficult than I thought :P Who do I send it to, or should I up it to The Zone? |
