A1200 NTSC 110V - OK to use in Europe?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170646570850
I posted this Ebay link on the market place page a few days ago. I'm thinking of adding an option for international shipping. Is it possible to run an A1200 NTSC 110V in Europe? |

Yes, but three things:
1) You'll need a PSU that runs on the voltage that's available in your country. 2) You'll need a monitor that can handle NTSC frame rates. This isn't much of a problem, but it's something to keep in mind. For example: A 1084 monitor can handle both PAL and NTSC. 3) While a NTSC A1200 can handle PAL, it will startup in NTSC and this can be annoying. Also, 175 dollars seems expensive for an A1200+memory expansion. You can almost get an A1200+'030 accelerator for this price. It's perhaps better to wait until a PAL unit comes along. |
