editing whdgame exit buttons on a 68000 cpu
Hi all,
I am wondering if it is possible to alter individual game quit buttons on WHDload so that the A600 can exit games that require key codes not available , for example, can the key exit code on Zoom be changed from PrScrn to $30 so i can use the blank button next to the left shift on the A600 (or other unused gamekey. is there a way to use hexedit etc to go in and change the value on the games? |

Either set a global quit key in s:whdload.prefs or add QUITKEY=$30 to the individual icon tooltypes. Check the docs, it's fully explained.

Even after remapping the key to one on the A600 keyboard most slaves don't support quit on 68000.

yup, as what Alexh stated, the global key doesn't always work hence the need to hack the slave to try to customize the quit key for the problematic games. I'll try the other option to see if that works

My version of WHDload Zoom uses F10 to quit as the default.
The docs also state that it can be changed with the icon tooltype QuitKey= |
