vhd physical vs. logical size

WinUAE does not allow to read from beyond the physical file size of a vhd although its logical size is much larger. Test program attached.

Using a non-dynamic hdf or a real hdd, you can read from everywhere on the disk even if the place has not been accessed before. IMHO a vhd should behave the same and return all zeroes for blocks which have not yet been written to.
