Airsoft Akiko-Emulator Source

while looking for some airsoft program, i found the emulator and the source for their emulator, way old, but of any use for winuae?

Notes on the source

The following source files were modified:

chg: win32.c (notify code)
chg: main.c (init and shut down code for Akiko added)
add: cd32.c
add: include/cd32.h 
chg: uaelib.c (calltrap(70) launches the Akiko control from the
               Amiga side)
were they allowed to make a commercial product based on winuae back in time, does uae/winuae licence permits this?

It's licensed under GPL, so anyone can copy and sell it at any price they want. The license explicitly grants you this right.
