mb version

i'm contemplating getting 1 of these :

but it mentions some motherboards might need a timing fix.

how can i find out what revision motherboard i have without opening up the miggy?

you cant sorry,you have to open it up because its writen on the pcb.


at the end of the day,if it doesent work on your amiga chances are it needs timing fixes.

Yes, the revision doesn't tell you whether you need the timing fix or not, so try it out and if it's unstable it needs a timing fix.

Performing the timing fix only requires mediocre soldering skills as it is just removal of a couple of capacitors. With two soldering irons it's very easy to do.
