Anyone willing to make a CDTV -> CD32 keyboard adapter?
Hi,
I got both the machines but haven't been able to find a keyboard adapter for the CDTV keyboard to connect it to the CD32. I've seen these on eBay few years back but not for a while so I guess they've all found a better home. If anyone can point me to a shop that sells them I'd be very happy, but in case they're not sold anymore I'd be more than willing to cover the expenses, postage and a little extra for the effort if someone would build me one. I'm sure it's not a lot of work. |

MK1, I've got one but I don't want to sell it... however, I can give you the pinouts and connections if that helps?

Thanks, but I got them already. The problem is I'm not capable of building electronics myself so I'd require someone to build it for me.

They sold them on eBay a while ago. Best thing is just to re-wire the end of the cable (inside keyboard) if you're never going to use it with a CDTV.

Yeah, but the plan is to use them with both systems so I don't want to touch the original hardware.

Anyone with the most basic electronics knowledge & some soldering experience should be able to make one for you, so I'd suggest just asking around your town to have it made there...would be MUCH cheaper!
If you really, REALLY cannot get it done locally, I can help. BUT, as I'm in Australia, it'll cost you more in postage than anything else PZ. |
