Winuae RTG problems

I'm new to WinUAE. I've configured it to use RTG with Picasso96. When I go to PREFS and try to select any of the "UAE" display modes, the Workbench window closes and I'm left with a blank "Workbench Screen" that I can't do anything with (the Amiga pointer disappears too, leaving me with the Windows pointer that just 'pings' every time I try to click on the screen). Restarting WinUAE doesn't help.

Here are my settings: A4000, 68040, 22MB Hardfile, AGA Chipset and NTSC modes selected, Chip: 2MB, Fast: 8MB, 32 bit Chip: 32MB, Motherboard Fast: 8MB, RTG Memory: 32MB, running in Fullscreen modes.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Press Return to continue. There is an invisible Windows requester which tries to tell you that your version of rtg.library (probably 40.3992 or less) is too old and you should replace it by the version which comes with WinUAE (40.3994).

Then copy rtg.library from WinUAE's Amiga Programs directory into the Libs/Picasso96 directory of your Amiga boot drive.
