Hmmm, the lower horizontal frequencies are strange... the range should start around 31.5KHz.
Are you sure it can't go below 66KHz ??
Which maker+model is it?

Agree with Supamax. You sure about the specs? Give the name and maybe specs can be googled.

Hmmmm, then I'm afraid you will "only" be able to use it with signals having a compatible horizontal/vertical frequency. No 640x480 or 800x600, unless... you could use Powerstrip and force your refresh rate to very high values (120..200 Hz, I don't know exactly) so to reach the needed 66KHz.
But your graphics card could not be able to reach such high refresh rates...

80Hz ist the upper limit of the monitor. So even if you reach 66KHz for 800x600, the vertical frequency would be out of range.

Thomas is right!

Well.. why don't you use it at 1600x1200 with your PC, then?

This the email i receive from barco

Please find attached the specification sheet of the ICD774.
Note that this display has only BNC video input connectors, which means that you will need a VGA to 5xBNC (for R, G, B, hor sync and vert. sync) conversion cable to connect to a PC.
Additionally, you will have to select a screen resolution on your PC that results in a horizontal video frequency between 66 and 78kHz (limits of the display), e.g. 1280 x 1024 @ 50 Hz vertical refresh.
The display is not autosync, so manual selection of the hor. frequency range (low or high) by means of an internal connector and adjustment of hor. and vert. frequency by means of internal potmeters will be necessary to get a synchronised image.

Drivers are not existing, but also not necessary. The operating system on the PC does not matter.

Regards.

Whoa! Manual setting of monitor horizontal and vertical hold circuitry. This thing would be a PITA to set up on a new machine, and I wouldn't even consider using it for an Amiga with input specifications like that - I doubt even an AGA machine can drive it fast enough.
How very 1980's.

That's what i think to !
i don't think i could display 640*480 on it.
It's an industrial monitor from the middle of 90's used for medical imagery and things like that.

Sounds like a good plan. Another good monitor on-line!

The 1600x1200 monitor was probably awesome - custom made for a great graphics card. But it also means it's a bit special now, without the correct drivers (Mac/PC) or the correct gfxcard (Amiga).

Many high-spec CAD monitors had component input, and ofc they were better than consumer level displays.

You have a photo of your Hantarex? Is it an arcade monitor?
