CDTV Kickstart Location?

I think I have worked out the answer to this but where is the kickstart ROM located on a CDTV?

I suspect it right next to capacitor and power connectors near the centre of the board...

I bought a Power Computing ROM switcher and now I'm starting to regret it:

Maybe I could extend the wires and host the ROM switcher out of harms way?

the kickrom is in center near rear

for use kickrom 2.04 or superior, you need update rom U34 and U35 with version 2.30

ta - just as I thought this ROM switcher is going to foul the capacitors and power connectors.

Time to think up a plan...

Thank you.

You could follow Tony Wilen's instructions and build a custom all-in-one ROM - http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...highlight=cdtv
