Phase 5 Blizzard 1230IV accelerator
I just bought a Phase 5 Blizzard 1230IV accelerator,how fast is it ? and how do i enable/disable it?
anyone know where I can download the user manual for the Phase 5 Blizzard 1230IV accelerator, English version? the phase 5 file site doesn't work please help me and post it in the zone! thank you and something that i read is that you can upload a kickstart file into the rom? so you dont need new kickstart rom? (i hope its all in the manual) regards Exit! |

Hello!
You got yourself a damn good accelerator card there If it's installed in your A1200 it should be enabled by default. You can disable it on boot by holding the 2 key while it boots. As for booting a different rom, you'll need the program blizkick IIRC |

The Blizzard is a fast card indeed. When playing 3D games like Xtreme Racing, it's actually faster than my A4000/040 (which has the standard A3640 CPU card). WB response and screen redraw is also faster.
