Missing from HOL

I've made a database of WHDLoad games and I've found some missing games that have a WHDLoad install but no entry in HOL.

Started to add some games from your list to HOL and found that https://amiga.abime.net/games/view/mr-men-olympics was already in HOL.

Edit: Super Bagman is https://amiga.abime.net/games/view/bagman on HOL.

Bagman500 and Super Bagman 500 are two different games.

I've been going through a lot of aladins whd games and there's a "lot" of games that are in lemon but not in hol.

It's a shame because imo hol is the grail of amiga

The problem is that there are simply not enough people working on HOL. I'd love to add more games, but I simply don't have the time.

Can't you just take more volunteers? Or maybe have some game submission system similar to Mobygames.

Heh, I once tried to submit an ad for a game just to get a message that the description wasn't formatted correctly pointing out how to change it. I understand that it is meant to 'train' submittters how to format things, but it surely didn't motivate me to try again.

That being said I always post that if you include screenshots and information about the game (for which we have an Excel spreadsheet available) it makes it a lot more easy to create new entries.

Having game submission option from all our members and statebcoear instructions would I think work for more entries and screenshots for new hol additions

Edit: Okay, re-installed the game and it worked.

@TCD I'd quite happily make submissions to HOL. Maybe there could be a submission template sheet that we could use and then upload that and any media into the hol ftp site like we do currently. You could then check it and add it to the main site.

I think it would be helpful when all Datas through missing games are sended by users.

Meaning, if you find a missing game just search for the Gamedata for yourself and put them in a Text or Excel. Year of release, how many Disks, Developer, Publisher, Language, Freeware or Commercial, Coders, Screenshots, maybe Manuals, HD/WHD etc.
I am using a selfmade Excel.
If you have most Data just send them in the Zone or to the HOL Server.
So TCD or NPI just have to add the Data and don´t need to search for all Datas by themselfs. That costs a lot of time, which they can´t use for HOL.

Yep, that is the idea You can find the Excel sheet in root of the HOL FTP as 'New Game Information.xls'.

I've added the games. TurboRAKETTI doesn't have the 'II' in the title, so it got added just as 'TurboRAKETTI'.

I think that it's v2. On Aminet it's called it TurboRaketti II.
