He means its evolution through the ages was very different from Medieval European continental one. Obviously, no such battles involving knights, armies, fortifications could have taken place there by that time. Also, it wasn't even named Australia aka Terra Australis until the early 19th Century.

After Dutch navigators charted the northern, western and southern coasts of Australia during the 17th Century this newly found continent became known as ‘New Holland’.
It was the English explorer Matthew Flinders who made the suggestion of the name we use today. He was the first to circumnavigate the continent in 1803, and used the name ‘Australia’ to describe the continent on a hand drawn map in 1804.

Both freeware tools (StopUpdates10 also comes with a premium version, bearing very little added functionality though) and one-click away workarounds for us discerning Win10 late adopters . As to the reason why they implemented such intrusive data mining mechanisms, it should be obvious by now all of this was related to that stupid personal computer / smartphone convergence trend that took place during the 2010's. So, they took that as an excuse, but soon realized the bulk of PC enthusiasts didn't consider DirectX 12 a wide enough tech gap to call it quits with the traditional NT based platforms.
