TFX FLIGHT SIMULATOR lets speed it up alittle
lets speed things up hey tfx
this is for people that like tfx game and like it fast not slow running i got tfx hdf file booted it up then coulden get it at full speed running SLOW that its not playable plus did even show the game running just sound some times so i went to see if i could get it to run at full speed i mean like a rabbit I inserted my workbench 3.1 disk booted it up with the tfx.hdf hdd file copy the files from from the tfx.hdf files to the ram folder on the workbench 3.1 desktop then run tfx.fpu simple eh not only did it run it was so fast theres no loading at all instant here's how i had winuae 0:8:22 release 9 configur for tfx floppy speed 800% chip : 8 megs slow : 1.5 megs z3-fast : 128 megs rtg graphics card : 32 megs rom : kickstart 3.1 <tfx needs 3.0 all higher to run cpu emulation speed : fast as possible cpu type : 68020+fpu collision level : full no filter display screen :any if u want still runs at full speed with out loading chipset type : AGA jit setting : 8megs misc options : fast copper defaut sound : 100% 4800hz then save ya configuration now u can play tfx at full speed with out loading fun eh this is for the people that are new to winuae and not experts like others ------------------------- my penny thoughts |

Just created my own TFX HDF file whch automatically runs the FPU version of TFX. I've created a similar configuration file and it does run like a charm. Mainly due to the FPU setting and probably JIT as well. Now I'll see if it works with my Wingman Force Feedback joystick...

Great! It's a pity the game won't work with my Wingman Force Feedback joystick though. I set it up ok in WinUAE by selecting the Wingman joystick and changing the settings to Analog Horizontal and Vertical. I think the problem lies in the configuration program. You have to setup the joystick here. Unfortunately it won't save the damn settings and resets them to default every time the game loads up.
