TFX FLIGHT SIMULATOR lets speed it up alittle

lets speed things up hey tfx

this is for people that like tfx game and like it fast not slow running

i got tfx hdf file

booted it up then coulden get it at full speed running SLOW that its not playable

plus did even show the game running just sound some times

so i went to see if i could get it to run at full speed
i mean like a rabbit

I inserted my workbench 3.1 disk booted it up with the tfx.hdf hdd file

copy the files from from the tfx.hdf files

to the ram folder on the workbench 3.1 desktop

then run tfx.fpu simple eh

not only did it run it was so fast theres no loading at all instant

here's how i had winuae 0:8:22 release 9 configur for tfx

floppy speed 800%

chip : 8 megs

slow : 1.5 megs

z3-fast : 128 megs

rtg graphics card : 32 megs

rom : kickstart 3.1 <tfx needs 3.0 all higher to run

cpu emulation speed : fast as possible

cpu type : 68020+fpu

collision level : full

no filter

display screen :any if u want still runs at full speed with out loading

chipset type : AGA

jit setting : 8megs

misc options : fast copper defaut

sound : 100% 4800hz

then save ya configuration

now u can play tfx at full speed with out loading fun eh

this is for the people that are new to winuae and not experts like others

Floppy disk

Just created my own TFX HDF file whch automatically runs the FPU version of TFX. I've created a similar configuration file and it does run like a charm. Mainly due to the FPU setting and probably JIT as well. Now I'll see if it works with my Wingman Force Feedback joystick...

Great! It's a pity the game won't work with my Wingman Force Feedback joystick though. I set it up ok in WinUAE by selecting the Wingman joystick and changing the settings to Analog Horizontal and Vertical. I think the problem lies in the configuration program. You have to setup the joystick here. Unfortunately it won't save the damn settings and resets them to default every time the game loads up.
