Cursor Issues in Nightlong
I am having an issue with the game nightlong. I have it installed along with the rtg.libraries. The game starts up fine in 68k mode (any of them) When I get to the part where I can control the cusor. It is stuck on the left side of the screen. Will only move top to bottom and immediately not slide up and down. It is either at the top or the bottom. I cannot do anything else. Anyone run into this issue before?
Please Help! |

Ok so I still do not have a solution. Even tried different install disk thinking maybe it missed a driver. Nope.
So does anyone have a working nightlong on their a1200 with voodoo3? Graphics are not the problem. Cursor movement is. Just wanted to see if people have played this game on a setup like mine. Please help. |

Well I must be the only one ever having issues with this game. At least as far as the cursor movement goes.
I have done further testing. I have tested on 3 amiga 1200 systems. First one: Amiga 1200 with 060 ppc 330mhz Mediator LT4 with Voodoo 3 3000 FastATA os3.9 bb2 updates. QuakeII, Shogo, Wipeout, Freespace, and Heretic II all work great on this machine. Board version is 1.D.1 Second Machine: Amiga 1200 with 060 ppc 330mhz GRex with Voodoo 3 3000 os3.9 bb2 updates Shogo, Wipeout work great with this machine. Haven't loaded the other games to test besides nightlong. Board Version 1.D.4 Third Machine: Amiga 1200 with 040 ppc 240mhz BVision Graphics IDEFix97 os3.9 no updates Wipeout installed working great. Haven't loaded other games besides nightlong. Board Version 1.D.1 I have also tried a 2.B board version as well. The game starts up fine. Gives me the video screen requestor. I choose the screenmode and start the game. It plays the opening videos of the game just fine. When in gets into the first scene to play. My cursor is at the top of the screen. I cannot move it left to right no matter what I do or try. It will go from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen immediately. Almost jumping to the bottom and back to the top. Not a scroll like it should. I really with I could play this game. But with no cursor movement. I am dead in the water. Does anyone have any ideas???? Please.... |

Big Thanks goes to Bamiga2002
He helped me find out that I had an older version of rtgmaster in my library folder that was causing the issue. I also was missing one file in my rtg folder in the library section. I appreciate the help. Now to enjoy the game.......... |
