is there any way of telling if a motherboard is ntsc or pal just by looking at it?
specifically a 600 board, but can apply to all boards

For Amiga 600 R1.5 and R2.0 boards look at crystal X1 :
o for NTSC it will be 28.63636 MHz o for PAL it will be 28.37512 MHz |

Or just take a look at them, it's easy to distinguish PAL mobo on the left VS NTSC mobo on the right
To anyone taking it seriously: it's just a joke Last edited by Lord Aga; 22 May 2019 at 09:41. |

Also, for the A600 and 1200, the RF modulator is smaller than that of PAL machines and doesn't fill the whole footprint on the board.
