I must confess I didn't know it had one, what is the title?

Conquests of the Longbow

It's not a direct sequel in that the story has nothing to do with the first one, but it is the second game in the 'series', by the same authors.
Pretty good game, I think.

I just fired it up on my 1200 via WHDload - I wish Sierra had put more effort into their Amiga ports, the colours just dont look right compared to the VGA PC version.

So he has a preferred reference site, not a big deal IMO.

I didn't want to link to the Amiga version as it's a *really* awful port, like most Sierra ports... that's why

I use HOL for all my Amiga game needs.

He's right, the Amiga ports of Sierra games are generally terrible and I'm a Sierra fanboi!

You are mistaking the tone of my posts.
I have a tendency to "tease" some EAB members, including laffer:
http://eab.abime.net/project-sprites...tml#post855532

I don't think he has a preference for MobyGames. Perhaps he wanted to link to the entry there for the additional DOS screenshots. Or perhaps he just forgot to post the link to HOL.

Anyway, I just wanted to have a bit of fun at him (I expected him to post something like "ooops sorry, I will never do it again, I promise).

Since you are a relatively new member you might not have read some of my other "teasing" posts and since I did not really include anything showing that it was such a post I can see why you misinterpreted it as being literal.

Feel free to PM me if you want to have a further discussion (if you think I am not a nice person or whatever ).

I am also a contributor to MobyGames btw (not very active recently though):
http://www.mobygames.com/user/sheet/userSheetId,137916/

so don't think I have an hatred towards them.

On the other hand, don't mention yuk, Lemon...

I just drove a few laps in Need For Speed 1 SE. Hands down the best NFS by far. Pretty hard, too I can't believe I last played it something like 15 years ago

Beware, you'll play it a dozen times more I actually own it on both PS2 AND PC, because I had finished the PC version with keyboard and mouse a couple of times and thought: this game must be more awesome lying in bed with a (cordless) PS2 controller in my hands.

It turns out that its a mixed bag. The driving and especially flying part certainly is more comfy with a controller, but the walking and shooting part is just far more comfortable with a mouse. IMO of course.

Did you finish the driving school and unlock the car trading missions? That will keep you busy for a while.

Yeah, did all the driving school and flying school and pretty much every misc mission/objective I could find, The only things I have left to do is take back various sections of the hood from the Ballas, and spray over a few tags.. Also a couple of the casino - Robbery missions left but all of that will be done today.

Will probably play through it again very soon

Hopefully I wont find Zeros - RC Missions so bloody frustrating next time lol
