0. D/Generation : Agree 100%, A great late discovery for me.

1. Knightlore, so glad it made its way to the Amiga. (easier to complete than Head over Heels, yet still challenging)

2. Feary Tale adventure

3. Populous (doesn't belong to the same genre, but for being ahead of its time)

4. Spindizzy Worlds (same)

5. Airball (same)

You're looking for these kind of games on the Amiga platform, right ?
I ask because isometric really belong to the 8-bit computer universe (C64, ZX...), inmho.

Knightlore didn't make its way to the Amiga - it wasn't released for it.

I don't think Hunter and Zeewolf are even close to isometric

Marble Madness is an obvious one. (EDIT: Already mentioned... doh!)

That's why I put a question mark against them, but they play similar to isometric games.

Cannon Fodder is not really a full isometric game to me either, but too many suggestions are better than too little I guess.

I don't know many Amiga ones but I played some on my PC:

Take No Prisoners (surprisingly addictive)
Sanitarium (surprisingly weird)
Postal (original, groovy!)
Incubation (kind of crappy but I did play it)
and Space Crusade (DOS, has some isometric)

There are some listed here but I don't know if many are Amiga:

You're right about Cannon Fodder... not sure if Faery Tale Adventure counts either?

Just thought of another one: Startrash.

Yeah, it's pretty good - it's almost like a mix of Marble Madness and Spindizzy Worlds (sort of). It's infuriatingly difficult though but I quite like it.

There is a promising PC remake of Knight Lore... in the making.

Check Retrospect site corresponding entry.

I like those threads where EAB members brilliantly contribute, while the initial poster is long gone .
