Nintendo Wii for A1200 Accelerator.

Hello all Eab'ers,

I have a fully boxed Nintendo Wii fitted with a D2Sun Modchip & games, (pm for details), steering wheel and classic controller which i have used twice since i bought it. My wife was hoping to get the wii fit but we've decided it just doesn't get used enough.
I am looking for a good accelerator for my A1200 Tower and am willing to trade if anyone's interested. I am hopefull of a 060 or ppc (may be able to add some cash to the deal too if required) but will consider any offers.

You've got something worth £200 at most... Unfortunately you wont get an 1260 or a BPPC for that.

The Wii softmod means that it is probably not even worth that much.

Hey Alex, i realise its not worth a massive amount i just thought i may be able to do a trade or even wii + cash deal with someone. I am open to offers so will consider any accelerator that anyone has to offer. I just don't use my wii so am looking to possibly trade. An item is worth whatever the seller wants for it and i have seen some apollo 1260's on amibay over the last couple weeks go for £160 and £180 respectively.

Without giving too much away - what seems to be the problem with the Wii softmod? If you don't want to say publically I'll understand and accept a PM.

Also what's included in the bundle you're offering?

I might be able to help with an accelarator - I'm so tempted by the Wii as I've been playing on a loaned unit for a couple of weeks

?? The (relatively) free softmod now means a "warranty destroying" hard-mod is no longer the must have it once was.

mine was softmodded and i still think a chip is much better,as if you accidently upgrade it then u got to do it all again and softmodding aint that easy is it ,shame the wii is crap though lol i hated mine after a week graphics are pants ,and half the time amiga is better ok now i know ive gone mad.

If you install preloader or bootmii you can prevent accidental updates.

Softmodding is INCREDIBLY easy, so easy I talked my sisters mate through it over the phone.

The gfx maybe crap, but if you have friends, the multi-player games are great fun.
