Multiscan - Productivity and Gray Border

Hi All,

I received my adapter to use a multisync monitor on my 1200 and everything is going ok. A quick couple of questions.

There is a gray border around the edges of the workbench screen in the unusable space. The border is different sizes on each side and very ugly. Is there any way to turn that black so I can center the screen correctly?

I noticed with my RGB - DSUB 9 adapter that the monitor takes time to "warm up" like it will ficker and stutter around for about 10 minutes and then everything is fine. I was just wondering if this was normal. I have the new indivision board on order so this doesn't really concern me all that mutch.

Thanks all!

There is a little tool that makes the overscan space border black cant remember the name will check the 1200 after work tonight.

If you go into prefs > overscan you can move and even stretch the display around to fill more of the screen or center it.

MCP give you black borders. And I think there is an original Workbench app to do this so.

BTW: what monitor you have? The C= A1942 is hopeless border.

@rkauer - Sony Multiscan G200 trinitron. It has all kinds of centering and geometry options.

MCP? Sorry, I don't know what that is.

@bootson - please let me know! I appreciate it!

MCP: Master Control Program. Reachable from here.

It is an equivalent to MCX (built-in in OS3.9), but far superior.

Thanks, that fixed the border issue. I remember using MCP and MUI from my A3000 back in the day now that I have instaled them.

One last one. I want to replace my magic workbench icons / pallete and settings with the one that comes with Classic Workbench. I don't have classic wb installed (yet) as my current hard disk is too small. What is that icon pack called?

New Icons v4. Findable on aminet.

But the package is big, if you want to use NI for all your original icons and stuff.
