PC Controller work with Dolphin Emulator?

I have PC Xbox 360 Controller where the wiring to my PC and I am trying get the PC Controller working with Dolphin Emulator(Gamecube emulator) but my pc controller doesnt work for some reason...

I gave up in the end on getting my XBOX360 joypad working.

Was trying to emulate my Wii setup.
Got Wii flash working, quite mad seeing Wii OS running in an emulator.

I know it's not much help for your already existing controller, but my brother uses a Logitech controller with Dolphin and it works great, analogue shoulder buttons and all. Can't remember the exact model or if he had to do any special setting up, but there can't be too many models with analogue triggers like that. Was great playing Extreme G 3 again
