Hi, anyone considered possibility of adding more than 2MB RAM? Might be configured as fast...
Got a bunch of GM71C18163BJ6 chips 1024kx16
They have additional pair of pins, which include 9th Address line. That is clearly available, so I'm going to give it a shot.

but... there are 2 RAS lines - so total 4MB could be theoretically used. Am I right? AFAIR it would require super agnus or so to use that as chip.

...or does 2MB itself require using 2 separate chips (or set of chips) and therefore both RAS signals?

The Agnus will only address 2MB of chip RAM.

You could potentially use it as ranger fast at $c00000. Time to study the A500 service manuals and think about how you would assert _RAMEN to get it visible.

Yeah, that's not the issue here. I could just use single chip to get 2MB chipmem, but is it going to work, since there are 2 RAS lines?
