What a truly awful loss, Belgarath, and I hope you can eventually deal with it somehow. I know what a terrible experience it is to loose someone so close to you, because I lost my father when I was 18. It's something that will stay with you for a very long time.

My deepest condolences,
Thorham.

Although I don't really know you I can't describe in words how sorry I feel for you (partially because I'm reminded of my own terrible losses).

Besides showing support simply by saying something here, I think the best anyone can do right now is to make a financial contribution, however large or small, because -- and I'm not sure whether he'd want me to say so in public, but I'm sure given the circumstances I'll be forgiven -- his financial situation is very difficult right now, to say the least, in general, and also funerals are very expensive, I remember from when my grandmother died a while back.

Finding the right words to say in a situation like this is not easy.
Losing a loved one is the worst thing that can happen.
I'm sorry for your loss Belg, I wish you the best and hope you'll find a way to get through this painful time.
