Off topic but - Putty was mentioned as being nearly finished in late 1991 - there was some talk of it being released on a special cartridge rather than floppies (mentioned in some of the early issues of Amiga Power. possibly issues 3 and 4?), so start-finish development time must have been close to 18 months.

That is some really fine pixel art indeed, thanks for the image @s2325 and the link @invent.

Note that the background has double the horizontal resolution of the foreground which means that they likely used sprites set in hires mode.

It is definitely a shame this was not released...

Lightshock done lot of great high quality games, it's sad there isn't demo of that racing game, I'm also sure that I have seen some shmup screens in magazine scans too that they have in plans.

Your video is nice s2325, showing the original press article is a nice touch even when there is no game footage.

However, I find "fondrieste"'s videos hard to take at face value:
He/she does not mention developers/publishers.
Does not mention when development took place.
Does not mention how they got hold of the game.

All in all, there is zero data that could be used to verify that this is not a complete fake.
