I think the odds are very good that you're thinking of Ebonstar.
See http://hol.abime.net/?id=2822 for more info. |

And what a top game it is too.
You missed out a bit of information there in your question that you may not know about if you didn't have the manual...if you shoot the machine spinning around the hole when it is exactly perndicular, the hole will explode and you will go to the next level. |

Hmmm ... could it be that there's a 1987 and a 1988 version of this game?
The disk says 1987, the box says 1987 too. But usually, the HOL DBS are taken from TOSEC cracks, so there may be differences So could someone with the original labeled '1987' please check out what year the game intro says in his version? [(c) 19XX THE DREAMERS GUILD] Another important note for emulator users: To avoid ugly flashes, enable cycle-exact mode! |

hey, I do know that! doh!
(for I've witnessed it myself ) But if all the crack versions say '1988 ...', there might be some ORIGINALS that say 1987! Read my post again: I did state 'original'. Concisely This question goes to owners of the original disk; it's not about dumb cracks! Last edited by andreas; 04 March 2004 at 18:50. |
