PiStorm issues on Amiga 2000
Hello, today I acquired everything I needed to install a PiStorm in my Amiga 2000 (Pistorm, RPI3, CPU Relocator) and installed it. I know I've got everything oriented correctly, so that's no issue.
When I turn on my Amiga and start the PiStorm emulator, it doesn't work, but there aren't any error messages. I have a switchless DF0/DF1 switcher and it keeps making the beeping noise that indicates it's switching. I ran "sudo ./buptest" and it said basically all the memory wasn't returning what it should. I know my Amiga works, so it must be a problem with the software or how it's installed. Can anyone offer some help? |

PS: As a sidenote, is it possible to link up the hard disk indicator in any way to show if virtual hard disks are in use? Just curious.

1. Are you using EMu68?
2. There is no mention on how you setup your SD card? |

So you paid for free software? And it's not even working... great.
I would either contact AmigaKit or just ditch what's on the card and set it up yourself. |

What I'm planning to do is re-install the OS and then install Musashi, to make sure everything's done correctly. |

Me too. If you bought a kit then it should work as described. Just get another card and set it up yourself? Quote:
I suspect the card does not contain a real PiStorm installation. Unless you really want a feature of the Musashi version of PiStorm (i.e. networking) I would recommend the Emu68 install. Last edited by alexh; 11 October 2023 at 15:43. |

I'm using EMU68 on SD card plugged into PiStorm32Lite in my A1200 if you want to get things up and running quick. Try this.
1. Buy a 32GB or larger SD card name brand like Sandisk. 2. Download free Caffeine OS from here > https://archive.org/details/caffeine-os-storm-923 3. Burn the Caffeine image to the SD card with a free program like Win32 Diskimager Plug SD card into Rpi SD slot, fire it up and enjoy. |

copy_rom=256 | 512 | 1024 | 2048 When Emu68 is starting the original Amiga ROM installed in your computer will be copied to fast ARM memory. The number determines size of the ROM image (in KB) which should be copied. |

I have not tried this myself, but perhaps if you remove any ROM area mappings from your config file, then it would go to the bus? Someone more knowledgeable can hopefully confirm.
https://github.com/captain-amygdala/...in/config_file If it doesn't work, as a workaround you can probably read your existing ROM using the Amiga under emu86 and then copy it in place for musashi. |

As of today, CaffeineOS no longer exists. Pedro has stopped it due to a accusation from the AmiKit dev. RIP caffeineOS, you will be missed!

Amikit creator and Caffeine creator faced off in there, Caffeine was discontinued. |
