winuae crashing windows on fullscreen

Hi all

i have a acer aspire 3680 laptop and am using the latest winuae package, i can use it perfectly on 800x600 windowed option but as soon as i change it to fullscreen windows vista creashes to a blue screen of death, i have updated the video driver to the latest with no difference, is there any options in winuae that i can change, having a window mode just isnt the same as fullscreen

ANY OPTION NOT TO VIEW WINDOWS I'LL TAKE IT

Try "full-window" mode.

BSODs on Vista are always driver/HW related. Even if you updated your video driver it looks like a problem in that area. Try a downgrade instead of "the latest"...
As Toni said Fullwindow is a valid alternative. IMHO it's even better because it gives you the advantage that every Amiga Workbench/Game screen switch it's faster and has not to open a real screen with few colors remapped every time... This could be the origin of your problems: screens in 8bit or lower are badly supported by your video driver/gfx board.
