Yep, both versions suck
The Atari Lynx version is teh greatest IMO/ What about Nemesis for teh Amstrad, Retroman? I neve rseen it, mind posting screenies and impressions of taht game? (and I think Salamander/Life FOrce was released too, so post comments and screenies about that one too ) It might be time for a 'CPC THread' |

Shadow of the Beast was the last CPC game I bought (or was Bloodwych?) and it looks better on a green monitor than on a colour one

And here goes the Salamander pic. After playing it again on Caprice, yes, is a lot faster than what I remembered

I already had the Spectrum version for sometime, and I even told Akira about it when I got it. I won't comment about it , as I don't even like the Miggy game that much...
But what I found really weird is that the word "Shadow of the" never appears in the game (It's like the game is only called "Beast" ) , and there's NO Psygnosis or Reflections credits in the game! I just got the Amstrad version with the pack of games I've just downloaded, so I'll may comment about it later.. I have a little more to say about the CPC, but I'll say it in the other CPC thread.... |

Thanks for posting the CPC pics. I can officially say it sucks The Commodore versions were SO great!
I still might end up buying them. What about R-Type? I almost nab that one on eBay... |

Nope, it's like the spectrum version. If you want a good CPC shooter try Silkworm

The onnly one I can now remember is 1943 (great conversion) but it can`t be (WWII airplane). Do you have more info about publisher or year?
