Player Manager File Error - Page 2

Tested on:
Amiga Forever
FSUAE
WinUAE

'File error' is caused by the save disk being write protected.

Sadly, I can't test in Gamebase Amiga as I can't get it to work (play button greyed out)

Will try this tomorrow as I have a Saturday free. May try standard Winkle rather than load it in Gamebase

Got Gamebase Amiga working

When you change disks, Gamebase Amiga automatically enables write protection for that disk.
Write enable DF0: after changing disks and it will work.

Ok - Saturday afternoon free and gave it another go (again)

Still no joy - felt like putting my boot through the monitor.

However, I tried installing the latest WinUAE version (v3.3.0) - I was using v2.3.3 (I think - as I have replaced it with the latest)

And just like that - it worked fine at first time of asking. Unsure why this as I have never had a problem at all with my previous games running - this was the first problem I have had since I installed Gamebase many moons ago.

Before I finished, just want to thank every single person who replied on this thread and provided me with help / save disks, etc. Really appreciated and hopefully I will be in a position to help someone next time.
