Worst in-game titlescreen ever

Apart from a 'worst boxart' thread, I couldn't find a worst titlescreen thread, so here goes nothing with my contribution....

On the atari 7800, I've always wondered what this guy's challenge actually is, in Mat Mania Challenge:-/

Also, is it my imagination or does Mr Green Pants have pigtails? Given the graphical limitations, this may actually not be a sausage eating challenge and Mr Green Pants might not be Mr, just very sturdy.

Maybe not necessarily bad, but certainly pretty odd... the loading screen from the very first C64 game I played on my own C64 (got a games bundle with the machine) - Netherworld. Decent game, btw.

Oh, and it's not strictly a title screen I guess... the game doesn't really have any, but it's the screen displaying while the game is loading, and on the box art as well, so hopefully close enough.
I always thought of the loading screens as some kind of title screens, anyway.

Considering both the face and skull, and pretty much everything else, are bigger than the planets, I get the feeling proportion wasn't a priority when drawing that picture

Anyway, if nothing else, it's very memorable... I remember this one better than most title/loading screens.

btw... I used to have that game and that picture looks far better on an Amstrad PCW8256 green screen.
