Thought I best say hello

I had an A500 + CM8833 + 1mb trapdoor RAM upgrade etc "back in the day", working my way up from Spectrum 48K and an Atari ST. I've still got the A500 but it's a bit unstable. While at Replay Expo in November I bought a 4GB CF IDE adaptor from the awfully nice chaps at AmigaKit and I've dug out an A1200 and have ordered an ACA1231/42 from here http://www.vesalia.de/e_aca1231-42.htm which should arrive soon (January from what I read). In the meantime I've setup the CF via WinUAE with PFS and classic WB Full and registered WHDLoad. Played a bit of Lemmings and Syndicate. Brill.

I'm hoping it all works when I plug all the bits in!

I didn't play wagglemania and no, I don't think I spoke to Jens. If I did I didn't know who he was! Getting the CFIDE adaptor gave me an Amiga itch again so I only found out who he is after reading on t'internet. I stayed at the Norbreck - what a ***t hotel! Over £100 a night. Worst. Hotel. Ever.
