I know that this was never released, but there was an official level editor for lemmings that was previewed in Amiga Power (no. 4, p.15).

We should FINALLY get this Psygnosis game into HOL!

Does anyone know on whose mag's coverdisk the game is featured?

I've started to sort out my old adf collection and guess what I just found ? A playable version of Aggression! It says "cracked by SB-SOFT" but has no title screen, so it's either a demo or a leaked alpha/beta. Screenshot attached.

Oooh, Aggression looks lovely ninetysomethingish. Nice.
Can you upload the demo to The Zone? I wonder what more Bloodhouse have programmed besides raytraced Asteroid clones.

By the way, have you ever hear about Benjamin and the Alien Incident? It is a point 'n' click adventure also going to be released by Bloodhouse in 1994/1995.

Okay, it's in the zone now.

I've investigated the disk and it's clearly not an official demo because it contains the source code of the first (and only) level and there's almost no game-logic (no score, you can die but you don't lose lives). It's a leaked tech-demo in my opinion...

The game was written in BLITZ BASIC 2.1, at least the level editor was written by "David Reed".

From one of the files:

Code:
Project: Level Editor; Version: 1.5; Coder: David Reed; Date: 17/10/95; Status: 100% Complete
Not much usable infos for the HOL, unfortunately. The disk says "cracked by SB-SOFT" but there was nothing to crack. They (SB-SOFT) just added some lame intro 'n stuff...

The music seems to be stolen from Turrican, btw.

I've played Aggression for a while and the gameplay is heavily influenced by the third shmup-level in Turrican 2 where the ship is at drift. The gameplay is OKish - thank god for the infinite lives. The music in the intro is taken from Bloodmoney by the way.

Billy The Kid managed to sneak out, too! Although I don't think there was an official release from Ocean! I had the original disks back in the day... if only they still worked!!

- Initiated Januaray 1993
- Like APB

BTW, what would be the best method to upload the scans, via The Zone or via Ftp.
If you or anyone have a scan for P.i.d preview, please PM me. I was doing some gfxs for that game back in '94; and I have finally got an OK from housemarque to publish them on the net. I will also add stuff from unreleased elfmania datadisk. Scan from magazine would make a nice addition, as I am also going to put small behind the scenes blurb on what happened.

once I got all up and running, I will post a link here. Maybe some of you might be interested

thanks!

This might be posted in the wrong place, but I ran over Joe Pearce site where he talks a little about Land of Legends

http://www.joepearce.org/programs/programs.html

Quote:
Land of Legends
Would-be Publisher: Microillusions
Developer: Me (Parsec Soft Systems)
Platform: Amiga
Year: Work stopped 1990
Type: Unfinished original
Contribution: Designer, programmer

This is the only unpublished program listed in this section. Land of Legends would have been my first commercial program AND my first program on the Amiga AND my first C language program AND a huge epic role-playing game AND... Well, you get the point. This was way too ambitious for a first endeavor, but no one involved at MicroIllusions saw the project as overambitious. After 2+ years of work on the program, the project was cancelled. Just as well -- the game would have been caught in the bankruptcy of Mediagenic (the distributor and former parent company of Activision), and it is unlikely I would have ever seen a dime in royalties.

The title screen seen here was created by Ed Kline

Hope this site can be of some use

I met David Peres few years ago and he told me he had the sources of Teddy bear. The game was virtually finished and just needed a little bit of work to get a final version. But since 2001 I don't have any news from him. He was living in a carribean island and planed to come back to France.
Anybody heard from him?
