[Found: Rise of The Dragon] Not many clues here I'm afraid!

Hi folks,

All I can remember about this game is that it's a RPG & somewhere near the start of the game you are talking to people in a bar.

I think the girl in the bar says something like "it's a bit rough in here" after some guys try to fight or threaten you.

Also, something about drugs, I think there is a drug epidemic & you are trying to find someone important (possibly a young girl) who might have started taking the drug?

That's really all I can think of right now...any ideas?

Not really an RPG fan and this is just a wild stab in the dark but one of the Ishar games maybe?

I know it isn'r the one, but it sounds almost like LSL 1..!! Perhaps it was based on this game mate? With any luck, it might stir peoples memories.

Sounded like Amberstar right upto the drugs bit.

Straight after starting the game you make your way to the Dancing Dragon tavern and learn about the thieves guild there and the next mission is to meet with a girl who has lost her cat (which you subsequently rescue)

Boom, that's got to be it TCD...I remember seeing what's in the HOL images!

Maybe I don't know the difference, but I thought it was an RPG?

Well it's no AD&D or Dungeon Master thingy, but in a way you could call it a RPG

I believe that the way the inventory works and is displayed (possibility to change clothes, equip weapon or not etc... and seeing 'real-time' result on the character) may be one main reason for the game to be mistaken as a RPG if you play it for just a short while.

Well, I wouldn't call it RPG at all, it's a classic adventure IMHO.

Bloodnet sounds like an idea too, so if FB comes back and says that it's not Rise of the Dragon, Bloodnet would be the next thing he should check
